Desperate to know my viewpoints on Life on Mars TV show, then proceed further. I know that huge fan following of this cancelled TV show will feel great to hear from another fan of this TV show. In spite of belonging to an entirely different profession, I consider myself a seasoned critic of TV shows. I have been watching TV shows since long and I know after all experience matters. I can explore TV show from different angles and dimensions. This time I am going to talk about Life on Mars from a different angle. I want to share with you what I really learned from this great TV show.

We all know that it was a really entertaining and thought provoking TV show. Nevertheless, have we missed a point in praising Life on Mars. Oh sure we have! Let me tell you that what we have missed. We have missed that Life on Mars presented the contrast between modern police procedures and the traditional methods of policing adopted by the police personnel. I would not like to dig deep into storyline of Life on Mars as most of us remember it by hearts. A policeman meets with an accident and finds himself in much earlier times as compared to time we was in before this accident. He is confused but continues with his duties as a police officer. He still shares a strong connection with contemporary police procedures and is aversive to traditional harsh procedures of policing. He is also taken aback for lack of application of forensic science to seize seasoned criminals. Wow! Now shift focus from this police officer to me. We have really progressed. Crime rates are falling; criminals know that American Lions are consistently on the prowl to prey on them. They can be caught with wittiness and strategy without even firing a bullet. Criminals can be made to confess without any torture. Modern police officer is on verge to becoming God, where no crime gets unattended from his binocular vision. Commendable job, Life on Mars! You will always belong to top most bracket of great TV shows.

Life on Mars or no life on this planet, I do not give a damn. Nevertheless, there was still plenty of life left in “Life on Mars”, television show when it was cancelled. Cancellation of this television series is a grave injustice to huge fan following of this TV show. “Life on Mars” had unlimited supply of oxygen in the form of action, suspense and thrills.  To burn this show into ashes by canceling it is putting an end to a TV series that was shaping up quiet nicely.

The show had a script that was as original as DNA of a new born. Name any other show whose plotline matches with “Life on Mars.” Start comparing the plot of this show with any show on earth. I can vouch that you will not find similar plotline in any other television series.

By ending “Life on Mars” prematurely, the producers messed up with its ending. Here is a brief snapshot of this TV show’s finale. Sam, the principal character in this show wakes up from his coma, only to find the modern world devoid of feelings as compared to his life in 1973. In the finale it was revealed that Sam’s travel into past was a computer simulation that was working in Sam’s mind. What the hell! It is all so absurd and seems total crap. This bizarre ending to this great television series seems like a forced effort to terminate “Life on Mars.”

To have complete episodes of “Life on mars” TV show will always remain a privilege. If we leave aside this ending, the whole television series is like a beautiful monument worth showering endless praises. I was finding it hard to procure “Life on Mars” DVD from the market so I decided to download it from internet. I have finally downloaded it from this website and enjoying this series all over again with my family and friends.

Hey friends! The American version of the hit BBC show, Life on Mars, ended only after Season 1, and as most people would agree with me, it was not the kind of ending we had been expecting. But now that the show is over, the stars of the show have moved on with their careers. Most of them are busy with on or the other new project. But I just thought to take a look at the guiding factors in the lives of these well known stars. And as I looked into the lives of two prominent cast members, I learned that it was the love of their wonderful families, which mattered the most to them.

Actor Jason O’Mara, who played the role of Detective Sam Tyler, in Life on Mars, has realized that family is what life is really about. Jason married, actress Paige Turco, whom he met on the sets of The Agency in 2002, and the couple has a son named David.  Jason feels that his priorities in life have changed and it’s not about him anymore, as now it’s his family that comes first. The actor wants to devote quality time to his family and wants to be around for his wife and son. He feels that parenting is all about being present for your child and listening to him.

And he is not the only one from Life on Mars, who thinks like that. His co-star on the show, actress Gretchen Mol, who played the role of Annie Norris, shares similar kinds of thoughts. Gretchen, who used to start weeping at the thought of getting pregnant, when she was in her 20’s, is learning more about parenting, as she tends to her 14-month old son, Ptolemy. The actress, who is married to director Kip Williams, feels that parenting cannot be learned from books. She admits to relying on instinct and dealing with a situation, as and when it presents itself, in the best possible manner and according to her judgement.

Hey people! So finally our favorite show, Life on Mars, has aired its final episode. The short journey of the US version of this hit British series came to an end in the first week of April, when the final episode of Season 1 was aired. However, not everyone is happy with the way the series ended and the fans of the show are divided over whether this was the perfect ending or the show could have done better.

Some people have liked the ending given to Life on Mars while others have termed it to be the worst kind of ending a series could get. The ending, which revealed the entire show to be no more than a computer simulation going on in Sam’s mind, is completely different from the ending given to the original British version in 2007, where Sam wakes up from a coma to discover a new life.

Personally I felt the writers could give a much better ending to the show than what we saw in the final episode. Like me, millions of eager fans tuned in, in large numbers to watch the much anticipated season finale of Life on Mars and it is really sad that they were totally disappointed by what they saw. One of my friends, Nichole, who is a great fan of Life on Mars, told me that she did not at all like the way the show ended and felt cheated about all characters and their relationships with each other.

But whether you liked the ending or not, the fact remains that Life on Mars has finally bid farewell to its fans on the American cable network. The show which could have been one of the best shows on the American cable network was cancelled only after it completed airing Season 1. But given the way in which the show ended, I feel that had it continued, it would perhaps have grown into a horrible show during its second season. So its better that the show ended at a time when we can still remember it as a great show. And who knows, maybe the show might still be revived later by a better team of writers!

Did you catch the new series “Life on Mars”? It’s airing on Wednesdays. This is the remake of British TV series and fantastically good in US version as well. This series has definitely got a fan on the day of its beginning and that’s me. I don’t know about others, but I found the series as a perfect entertainer. It carries suspense, humor, action and adventure. That’s why I have named it jam packed entertainment.

I was attracted towards the series after watching its dazzling promos. Harvy Keitel in action, beating people brutally, slow motion chase scenes and above all seventies music, raised my curiosity one level up to catch the show. It didn’t let me down and the show was exactly up to my expectations. I am watching the show regularly from its day of beginning. Among the aired episodes, I liked fifth episode the most. This is titled as “Things to do in New York When You Think You’re Dead”. Title sounds interesting, Right? Yeah! episode is equally interesting.

If you have a doubt that Sam Tyler is in coma and whatever he is doing is just his imagination and nothing is real, then this episode is surely going to prove you wrong. In this episode, Sam runs into his 2006 mentor officer Fletcher Bellow. Contrary to 2006, Fletcher is pretty young then. Although, he works with Sam on a case, but doesn’t recognize him, Whereas Sam recognizes him. It seems a bit ghostly situation. Sam is of his actual age as in 2006 and is present in 1973. On the other hand, Bellow is also in 1973, but he’s young like he has to be in 1973. Only Sam’s age doesn’t get affected. Bellow doesn’t recognize him because he has to meet him in future, after about 33 years. Anyways this doesn’t affect their investigations. They solve the case together.

This episode is not only my favorite, as I read somewhere that this episode has got highest ratings among aired episodes till now. This episode has made me more curious for further episodes. I am sure this show will run for more seasons.

Have you got the buzz? Here’s another new drama series and it’s differentte’……oops I have just read an e-mail in French. So this is a science fiction. No, this is a police drama, Oh it’s a combo. Great! Well I didn’t get the news in time and I missed the initial episodes. I started watching ‘Life on Mars’ from the third episode and believe me! This is a fantastic series. A man suddenly travels back into time after a car accident. He may be in coma but events back in time are so real that it doesn’t seem so. He is in the year 1973, just after four years of his birth. But he’s a grown up man, as he was in 2006. In 2006, he was working as a detective with Greater Manchester Police, and he is doing the same in 1973. Though, he should have been a kid in that year. Now he’s continuously trying to explore about how and why he has reached back in time.

Hey, I missed this part of story in first and second episode. I have learnt it from the monologue they bring out in the opening of every episode. Moreover, when this time we friends hanged out, this show made up sufficient chunk of our gossip. My friends too liked the theme of this show. Everybody was saying that after a long time in the crowd of police dramas, a different storyline has come out.

The voices Sam hears, of people in hospital and of his mother point that he is in subconscious state in hospital. In fact, his mother is heard talking about removing the life support system. Still this is strange that in his subconscious mind, he encounters unimagined and unexpected things. He solves crime cases, meets new people, works with them, touches them and remembers all about his life in 2006. This suspense is life of this show. I hope that they won’t unveil it so soon. In fact they should keep dropping clues, so that people could carry on making speculations.

I am now fan of ‘Life on Mars’ and will definitely catch the episodes, I missed, over here.

Entire episode went on in a hospital with Sam, Ray, Annie and Gene in a hostage situation. The entire episode revolved around a crazed gunman. He wanted the doctor to reverse a dangerous operation on his brother. Sam and gang were deputed to diffuse a potentially explosive face-off in the hospital. This was all about the episode last aired.

Like everybody, I was also curious to know what happens in next episode. So I searched a lot. Eventually, found a little chunk about that. Let’s don’t waste time and I am eager to tell what I know. The next episode to be aired is “The Man Who Sold the World” and will hit the screen on 20^th of this month.

As per my information, this episode will be about Sam’s father, who went missing since Sam was a three-four years old kid. In this episode, he finds that his father is accused of kidnapping a prominent family’s child. May be that’s why he left the city. This is also possible that he was framed in the case of kidnapping and has died. Also he could be in jail or might be living under a pseudonym. These are all my guesses. If you want to know what exactly happened, you, too, will have to wait for the episode to be aired, like me.

As far as I know, now Sam develops a notion that he has been sent in 1973 for some purpose. That is to save his father’s life and prevent him from going missing. This episode will also throw some light on childhood of Sam. So expect to explore a little more about Sam’s personality.

Every episode carries some suspense and most of the times an amazing surprise, that’s why I love to watch this show. In fact, I have already downloaded and watched the initial episodes of the series once again. This is my destination to enjoy the show, when it’s off-screen. Which is yours?
