Episode 3
Sam finds himself living in an apartment, in 2006, which was previously a textile factory that was converted into housing following its closure which occurred when confessions by a union organizer are made regarding a suspected murder that occurred at the factory. Derek Banister is bullied by Gene into giving a confession for the murder in order to save the textile company from the fate of closing. Sam investigates further discovering that a fatal accident was being covered up by the confession. DCI Litton is on the trail of stolen guns in the possession of the union organizer’s son who is planning a payroll robbery at the same firm. Sam allows his guard to slip when attempting to reason with the robbers and is rescued at the last moment by Gene.
